The Hamlin Woodshop was created in November of 2010 with the help of our family and very close friends. What once was a tack room in the back of a 100 year old barn, developed into a nicely outfitted woodshop enjoyed by hobbyist woodworkers Terry Hayes and Augie Murgillo. Basic equipment obtained at local estate sales eventually was traded in for new saws, tools, and a lathe as our experience and interest grew.
The barn has had some growing pains. In May of 2014, a new metal roof was installed and it should protect the shop for many years to come. This old barn has become a place for new ideas, designs, and product development. We focus on pure quality and satisfaction for our customers. As cliche as it may sound, “If you’re not happy, we’re not happy. ” We both have full time jobs, but this is our passion. Pure and simple.
We have a hands on approach with every item that ships out of our shop. It still amazes us that people all over the world are able to touch an item that was individually crafted here in the shop. More importantly, we are proud to say our customers often brag that it was made in the USA.
